Have you ever wondered what your daily life would look like without minerals and metals? In fact, minerals, and metals are used to

manufacture many products and consumer goods that meet our needs.

Did you know that a human, from birth to death, consumes approximately 1,450 tons of minerals, metals, and gasoline?

Here are some examples of the daily use of minerals:

Cobalt: for the manufacture of turbine engines and dental prosthesis alloys.

Copper: for the manufacture of materials used in electrical circuits and plumbing.

Iron: for the construction and transport industries.

Nickel: for the manufacture of stainless steel, batteries, and coins.

Gold: for the manufacture of jewelry, coins, and electronic equipment.

Zinc: for the manufacture of many body care products (soap, shampoo, sunscreen, etc.)

Lithium: for battery design.
